Bean Sprout Chow Mein – Recipe – Chinese

A light and satisfying noodle dish where tender Chinese noodles are tossed with crisp, fresh bean sprouts. The gentle crunch of the sprouts balances perfectly with the savoury noodles, making this a simple yet flavourful favourite. Perfect as a main on its own or as a side to share.

Ingredients

  • 100 g bean sprouts
  • 250 g Chinese noodles

Seasoning

  • Soy sauce
  • Sea salt

Method

  1. Heat a wok, add a little oil, and stir-fry the bean sprouts lightly. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add the noodles, stir-fry until hot.
  3. Season with soy sauce and sea salt.
  4. Return the bean sprouts to the wok, toss together quickly.
  5. Remove from heat and serve.
